Tom

Hello all,
First off I want to assure everyone in East Egg, that contrary to what Mr. Gatsby may be thinking I am not having an affair, as I know this is what he was implying. I love Daisy very much and that's why I get so bothered when Gatsby gets all flirty and crap with her. On another note, I have been busying myself this week by working a lot, going out to some parties that Gatsby threw (which even I must admit, were quite fun) and prepping for the upcoming sailing competition. I got the old ship all ready to go, and boy, does she look great! In case you haven't heard the competition will be an all day affair in early August and the winner receives the prize of $500. You do have to pay to enter, but let's be honest here people, has money ever really been a issue with any of us East Eggers? Surely not.

Until next time,
Tom

Hello friends,
Even though it is 2 o'clock in the afternoon I am still in my silk pajamas. I think you all know why I am just rolling out of bed now. The party last night was insane (at least that's what I have been hearing from some of you who attended) and I spent the wee hours of the morning cleaning up after you people- not that I mind, I definitely don't. I love to throw parties just as much as you all enjoy coming to them. I love to see the smiles on people's faces signifying they are having a good time. It's what I live for.
On another note, Daisy: I would love to come over for dinner. And Tom, buddy, I think you're way off base; there's nothing going on with Daisy and I. She's your wife and I respect that. But I will always care deeply about her. She's a gem Tom, cherish her. And what's with all the meetings you've been going to lately Tom? Daisy says that you have been getting home awfully late- is there anything you care to share with our fair bloggers?

Regards,
James Gatsby

Hi Lovelies!
I have just been having the most fun week ever. I'm giggling even as I write this. I have been to a party at Gatsby's every night this week. They are just so fun and really, who can turn down a great party? By the way, Gatsby when you read this, I'm sorry I couldn't make lunch the other day, Tom is getting all silly and protective of me all of a sudden; although I will take a rain check on that little date and maybe we could reschedule for later this week? Tom seems to be having a lot of meetings lately, and they've been going really late, which is weird, but I need some company. I don't think he would mind us meeting up for a little bit. When are you free? I was thinking maybe dinner at Tom and my place Friday?
Anyway, I should go darlings, I'm going out on the yacht with some friends tonight.

Lots of love,
Daisy

Hey everyone,
I know this blog is supposed to be fairly pleasant but it's also kind of a journal and I need to let off some steam so here we go: GATSBY STOP HITTING ON MY WIFE. I know what you're doing and it's bugging me. When Daisy was choosing who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with she chose me, so get over it! And Daisy, you are definitely not going to lunch with Gatsby. I'm sorry sweetie, but I don't trust him around you. I have a meeting tomorrow during lunch, so I won't be around if he tries to pull anything. Also, Daisy, I think we need to have a serious talk about our relationship. Sorry to have said all that everyone, but I needed to get that off my chest.
Moving on, a little announcement guys: the East Egg Country Club has just said that there is going to be a sailing competition coming up in August. I suggest you all start training now, as Daisy and I plan on beating all your butts! Just kidding, but seriously, I was a big time football player in college and "winner" might as well be my middle name; I was born to compete.

Hope to see you all soon,
Tom

Hello my fellow East Eggers,
Thank you all so much for coming to my party last night. I didn't get to chat with many of you as I was just making sure everything at the party was running smoothly. It wasn't a swimming party but some of you I saw had a little too much champagne and decided it would be a grand idea to take a dip in my Olympic-sized pool. It got to be kind of chaotic and I found several pairs of high heels left by the pool area folks, I have no use for them so next time you come over, make sure to bring them home with you! Haha anyway, Daisy, you are such little doll, for saying all those kind things about me on this blog. But really, I'm not all that amazing. Did you have fun at the party last night Daisy? I spotted you but you were dancing up a storm and I didn't want to interrupt. I hope you had a marvelous time, you only deserve the best doll. :) And Tom, old sport, did you enjoy the food? A big football star like you needs his energy, right?
So, I'm supposed to talk about my day aren't I? Well, my butler woke me up this morning with a nice cup of coffee and the paper. Just lovely. Then I went to see Daisy and Tom for breakfast at their place and we went riding later. They are excellent company, if I do say so myself. Daisy...are we still on for lunch tomorrow? Tom, you're welcome to come too, of course!
All my best,
James Gatsby

My darling friends,
This is my first blog, Tom came up with the lovely idea that he and I should have a little web page to talk about our lives on a weekly basis. This seems sort of like an online diary, and it's really funny to me that Tom came up with it because he has always been so manly, what with his football accomplishments at New Haven and all. He really is a sweetheart though, because I know that he suggested this diary as a way for me to blow off steam by writing, as I have been a little preoccupied lately. I have always been just so creative, so, naturally I fell in love with the idea of a blog. I insisted that Tom let James Gatsby in on this whole blog ordeal because he is just so talented and has such a fascinating life, what with all his wealth and the gorgeous parties he throws, that I think it would be for the good of all the East and West Egg bloggers to know what the sitch is with Mr. Gatsby. Tom was reluctant to let Gatsby join in on our diary at first, probably because he doesn't like how I dote over Gatsby, but dear me, can you even blame me? He's simply marvelous!
Anyway, today was lovely in that Tom and I had lunch with my cousin Nick at our huge, but gorgeous mansion. Then we took a ride in our brand new car and decided to take a trip to the country club to have a little fun in the sun. We watched our friend Jordan play in her first golf tournament, which she won. If you're reading this Jordan, way to go dear! :) Then Nick had to leave us to tend to some work and Tom and I went back to East Egg. Speaking of which, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love East Egg, Tom and I just fit in there so well! It's like the neighborhood was made for us. Later tonight, Tom and I are going to a party at Gatsby's house, it's sure to be a ball!

Love you all dearly,
Daisy
